During the season Bailey has been one of Denmark's top-class gundogs in DRK Winner Class. We achieved our first UDM (Good) in Cold Game Test B, and 1st Winner with CERT and CACIT at an international Field Trial A. Last Summer Bailey won the Danish Team Championship and the Gundogs Race Competition for teams. In December 2007 he finished the DRK Elite Field Trial and ended in top 5 (as the only male dog!).

We are very proud of Bailey's achievements. He is really an outstanding labrador!

Resumé of last years achievements

The qualificationstests for the Danish Team Championship started in March where Bailey on only two tests (of three) qualified for the Championship for Region South Jutland. In April he received his first UDM (Good) at a DRK Cold Game Test B, and afterwards he participated at the last qualificationstest for the Championship. Unfortunately Bailey had to drop out of the test as he injured his paw. He stepped on a sharp branch and sadly he cutted up his pad. Sad ending but luckily Bailey was already qualified for the Championship.

In May Bailey participated at the official Working Test in Northern Zealand. We hadn't trained Bailey for a couple of weeks due to his enjury so we were very happy when Bailey ended as WT3 (3rd Winner). In June Bailey won the Danish Team Championship together with the Team South Jutland. Amazing result!

At the DRK Retriever Championship on 23 - 24 June, unfortunately, we hadn't got enough points to enter the finale (we only needed 4 more points). However, Bailey ended as no. 7 and we were so proud of his achievement.

In July we competed at the Gundogs Team Racecompetition where 11 different gundog races participated. We represented the labrador race and won the team competition with maximum points. In August we finished our Cold Game Test B season with our second UDM (Good).

In Autumn the field trials begon... In October we became 2nd Winners with Excellent at the international DRK Field Trial A at Gavnø, and on the following field trials we became 3 x 3rd Winners, 1 x 4th Winners and 1 x UDM (Good). On 30 November Bailey did his best performance ever, at the international Field Trial A in Rohden, and became 1st Winner with CERT and CACIT. And with this result he qualified for the DRK Elite Field Trial A a week later, which he finished (as the only male dog) and he ended in top five among Denmarks best gundogs!

Bailey has in this season proven that he is outstanding. We believe that he even opened up new opportunities for an official title in the upcoming season. It's so exciting!

We look forward to year 2008 where we'll increase our family with one of Bailey's male puppies in March!

We are very proud! The Elite Field Trial took place in Bognæs and Pandebjerg (two days), and there were 22 starting winners class dogs.
